I need advise how to swap ECM.
HW: 07K 906 032 Q on this car, need some clear info please.
I have FVDI but can't find some clear info in manual.
If I read ECM eeprom with FVDI and transfer to new (used) ECM.
Is it going to work?
Or I should do Immo OFF?

Hello guys.

I get today in garage a Golf IV (VIN: WVWZZZ1JZ1B051240), 2001, AJM, for some works, but the ABS light are lighting on dash. Diagnosing with VCDS, I get 01276 error code. My experience with ABS is almost 0, I decide ask you some help. Famous program say that this code mean-wiring, pump motor, ABS control module. How I know where is the problem between pump motor and ABS module, cause wires are checked and all are OK.

I have a side assist which does not work.
In measuring blocks the voltages shows 0V, im Master and 14V im slave ECU.
I have found a TPI with new software wit an SVM code.
I have a 8K0907566A_0020.
I have only a newer soft from 8K0907566B.

Does anyone know if this is compatible?

Hi 2 all,

The car in question is my personal car.
On 24. Dec 2016, timming belt was broken on the road approx at 120 km\h.
I've done all upper side of the motor, Valves, Cam, Injectors gasket repair kit.

My question is how is the procedure to adjusting the injectors (i know that is between 190-270 degrees).
If someone can see this procedure on Elsawin for an Seat Ibiza 2007, 1.9 TDI 118KW BPX.

Before this car was perfect and in the morning was starting excellent, now I have ERROR and car stands to start correctly.

17669 - PD Unit Injector: Cylinder 1(N240)
P1261 - 35 - 10 regulation Range Exceeded

On Group n018 on inj1 i have value 47 and it should be 0.
2, 3, 4 are 0.

My question is: Is possible that Injector Unit is Faulty?
When i have mounted injectors i adjust injectors at 270 degrees.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Hi guys!

I got this car from other workshop as always.
The customer complain about loosing power only second gear.
Happened with me two times, I cannot see any strange or bad value of live data.
I still have it until I will find something or fix it.
Only thing is what I find out so far: only happen if I stop (switch off engine) when is hot,and 5-10 minutes I start to drive it again, and first or second time shifting up to second gear. The feeling like no missfire at all, but like the throttle just lazy or stuck...

Here is the full scan make every member happy! (Never had and has any fault codes.)

2008 VW Crafter auto shift manual transmission 157.000 miles.
Problem: unable to complete programming after clutch replacement = no drive.

I tried with VAS5052A and VAS-PC/VAS5054A same result failed comms on engine start hangs the process with just the grid learned.

Solution:
I connected Mercedes Star Diagnosis/Xentry and selected Sprinter 3 906 and scanned.
EIS profiled the vehicle as VAG.
I selected Transmission and adaptations to learn.
Problem: ignition on/off not recognized by tester
Solution: terminal 15 supply connected into pin 8 diagnostic socket = OK
Adapt clutch process completed correctly.

Just a shame it couldn't fix the worn synchro on 3rd.

I am trying to help a friend to code an ABS ECU on a Passat vehicle is Left Hand Drive and VIN is WVWZZZ3CZAE082467.

I need to fit cruise control to a Q5 for one of my customers but can't find a part number for the switch from ETKA.
I spoke to my local Audi dealer, well I won't hold my breath.

I have the part number for the lower cowl, but no info for the switch.
Looked in offline ELSA, nothing in their either.

Hi.
Dears, I have tested your flash files Skoda Flash Disk (12.2016) for the following ECU:

AG 9972
NF 9978
LP 9979
LR 9977

All were successful in flashing, but after that a DTC was exist:
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range/Performance.
I have tried with several solutions: Replaced the MAF it self several times, check electric wire, everything was 100%.
Then after thinking awhile, I have downgrade the software to 9972, DTC gone and never back again.

Hi,

Does anyone know if and how I can update MMI's using ODIS with online connectivity? If I can, will it install newer version (if exist) for that year model, or will it install newer version? (For example if I update 2013 Audi A6, will it show the latest version for 2013, or the latest version for 2015-6, same MMI)?
Can I get the maps update to through ODIS online?

Ok this is a long one, a customer of mine bought a Skoda a few weeks back and 2 weeks back had a turbo boost fault, (see first scan).
I removed and cleanup turbo as vain were sticking, now a week later get a call that's broken down and AA say the fuel pump might be gone but car started when they turned up. We scanned car and found these codes (see 2rd scan). I ask the owner if the AA read codes, she says no but was playing around under bonnet even tho the car had started. I tell customer there is now ECM connection faults that were not there last week but the one code I think is injection wiring in the head, but the dates on scan don't add up right with mileage and the injection does match when you broke down. I replace the wiring in the head and check old one and couldn't see any breaks. I wrote on their bill I didn't know if ECM was the underlining problem ecause AA may have disconnect injection plug, anyway was just left a message its broke down and now isn't starting (which is good for me this time) but AA have scanned this time and has ECM communication with ECU. The car does have a lot of power so I'm thinking it may be remapped and ecu cover not sealed? Do the Skoda have the same problem as the Passat with water in ecu from blocked drains? Did check this last week and was dry but haven't looked in ECU tho.

I thought that there is problem with steering rack, so i hooked new one on cables, and made calibration, but the problem is still present... Here is VCDS Log, if someone can point me to right direction...

See attached scan.

Car is Polo 2010 Engine CAYA 6R1314 KFK transmission.

I noticed when I serviced this car it seemed like it had a injector rattle as you accelerate and then goes away. I told the customer when he takes the car to VW for the required software update, maybe get them to have a look when it's in, or I'll look at it myself later.
So S/W update done, VW said it needed a injector but didn't say which one.
I got it to look at today and checked all the numbers on the top of the injectors and checked to see if any of them had been replaced before and not adapted.

What I found was:

Injector 1 was adapted to cylinder 3
Injector 2 was adapted to cylinder 4
Injector 3 was adapted to cylinder 1
Injector 4 was adapted to cylinder 2

So I though someone has had injectors out and fitted them back in to the wrong cylinders.
SO I adapted them all correctly using ODIS.
Now the car is running like a bag of shit.
I gave it a driving cycle and it's running crap.

Looking at the way the injectors were programmed, look like they had been programmed like as cylinder number 1 closest to flywheel and number 4 closest to timing belt. Now I know some french shit is like this, but never had issues with VW before like this.
Or am I missing something with this one?

Any ideas please?

This is a taxi with 177k on the clock. Sent from another workshop.
Starts no problem cold, see scan, showing comms with Gateway OK. After warming car up I did another scan and the auto-scan doesn't work in VCDS because I notice the Gateway has no comms, but car still starts. Looked at immo data and even though data says start not authorised and engine not answers.
The car will still start.

When engine is fully warm, turn engine off and car tries to start similar to immo fault but, there are no immo faults, apart from missing message from instruments in engine controller. That fault is permanent (car still starts). I suspect diagnostic interface gateway fault because of the non comms issue, I notice the part has been superseded 10 times!

Anyone had issues with this before?

UPDATE

I have checked wiring from Dash J285 to J533 Gateway and the 2 can wires and 1 wakeup wire are all OK. Also need to know what that value SI.Ln means exactly? See attached file.

Hi guys,
I'm a newbie in the automotive diagnostics.

Here are the details of the car:
Golf 7 R 2.0 TFSI 2015. Odometer: 29.000 Km.
VIN: WVWZZZAUZFW020362
Engine ECU: CJXC / 5G0906259E

The problems:
- One DTC as shown in the image below.
- Long cranking before start.
- Loss in power and sudden speed drops.

I can see in the measures values the high pressure value is only 8.8 bars instead of 50 but would it be something other than the high pressure pump. I suspect an other guy here in the workshop has touched something in the engine adaptation values because the car didn't suffer anything related to the engine when the owner brought it to the workshop.

I have done every possible adaptation using the guided function of ODIS and I've seen some adaptation values have been changed then but the problems didn't change at all what ever I change in those adaptation values.

The measurements values in the image below were taken while the engine is running idle. I'm using ODIS 4.0.0.

Please help me pinpoint the culprit of this mess.
