VW Golf 7 2015 Brake Warning On Issue

Hello AP Members,
I have got this issue with VW Golf 2015 Model, the Brake Lite is on, after the battery drain off from the car, and had to go under the car to connect wire to the alternator main wire and then earth the engine in other to open the door with the remote. After this the Brake lite come on with fault codes such is below, please I want to know if what I did fry out the abs or something else?

ESC - DTC
U1113 - Incorrect signal in message mmotor - active/static
C1146 - RKA: missing input signals - active/static

ECM DTC
U1123 - Databus error value received - Active/Static

TPMS - also blinks yet no communication to it, would also like to know where the module is and the power ends supplying power to it and earth

Please advise me what to do in other to get the system normal?
One more thing is the push start button has become slow in respond, no such quick touch start again, you either have to press and hold down for a while or push it several time before as if there is a loose contact.

Audi Q5 2011 2.0 EGR Every 100KM Fault

On a 2011 CGLB engine (2.0, 170HP) at 102.000 km the EGR was broken, the water penetrate in the air intake but not in a big quantity. The EGR was changed with the recommended version from ETKA 03L131512DT (OEM part from Valeo). In 100 km the EGR was broken again with a lot of water spread as steam more than the first time. The auxiliary water pump is working at an appropriate debit, the DPF seems not to be clogged, it is in good condition after a static test. I am not sure about the differential pressure sensor, if it is decalibrated and the DPF has a lot of soot, the pressure of the exhausted gases is at a high value and can broke the cooler so I will try to test it. Is it another possible cause to such a fail in only 100 km?

VW Golf MK5 Rear Wiper Fault

Wonder if anyone can advise me on a rear wiper fault on my nightmare MK5 Golf, rear wiper hasn't worked since i've had the car, but i've obviously had more pressing problems to attend to on this car, and hopefully those are now sorted anyhow, today i've started trying to solve the rear wiper problem, well lack of on rear screen wiper, everything else works on the rear of car ie lights, lock latches ect, removed wiper motor from car, tested with independent 12v, working fine, fixed a couple of minor chaffs inside left hand gaitor where harness joins car body from top of tailgate , rear washer is also operational, with stalk pushed forward for rear wiper, relays in drivers side click as expected, fuses in fuse box inside car which should have 12v with ignition on also do have correct value where do I go from here, had c pillar trim off and checked the 3 multiplugs, but unsure what readings I should be getting there and with what switch positions.
could anyone advise me how to proceed?

Hello M8

Im trying to fix a vw jetta 2005 2.0 , it arrived with a bad ECU,
we changed for an used in good shape, and when i plug the vagcom
same DTC as the other ECU

19552 19552.P3096 Internal control module memory:checksum error

It would be possible to have 2 damaged ecu ? Also does any one have more information related to this problem like a diagnostic procedure.

VW Passat B7 2013 Bluetooth Coding

Hi.
I installed 9W2 Bluetooth unit in my Passat 2013 and connect all wires.
When i search from my mobile, i find and connect to it.
When i receive calls, i press phone button in my steering wheel for answer and hangup the call.
There is no phone menu in my MFD, please can anyone help me to code it for to work in MFD?

Audi Basic 3G MMI Combine Navi DVD's?

Looks like the 2016 Maps come on 2 DVD's.

I am very interested in a way to combine this to one DVD or one SD Card.

Problem is I pushed my car away from a hot exhaust while performing a DPF regen on another car, and when I pushed it I scratched bumper of this Audi belonging to one of the workers next door.

Instead of paying him for repair he suggested I could update his navigation which happened successfully.

However he is in UK and frequently goes back to Poland, with just West Europe maps loaded, he cannot use his MMI to plan a route back to Poland so is disappointed my upgrade has left him worse off.

Any other situation I would tell customer this is Audi's intended design so no fix available, but for this customer I am keen to find some method to make him happy.

Audi A4 8EC Readiness Code

Hi guys! I have an Audi A4 8EC BFB engine code with fault codes P0507, P1171, P1297, i checked everything for leaks, i test a used throttle valve but faults come again after one week. I bypass the wiring of the throttle with new cables and when i try to make the readiness code P1112 system too rich code appear. I changed the MAF sensor after some other checks and the code done correctly in the guided fault finding. My problem is now when i read the readiness from the self-diagnosis the second digit is 1 (01000000) and i don't know what that means. Does anybody knows i make the settings 3 times and all the systems are ok.

Right back again with my biggest problem to date with this nightmare Golf, my partner owns this car now, and everything has been going well resolving most my issues with the advice and answers to my questions given here at AP, now to my trouble, she rang in a panic last night after leaving work for home, saying there was smoke from engine bay (car has engine BKD), I asked if it was smoke or steam (being a woman I knew it was probably steam bigsmile2 ), anyhow I jumped in my car to go to the breakdown and wait with her till the aa relayed the car home, when I got there I was right in my thinking and was in fact steam, I could see down in between the top of engine and the EGR cooler water was dripping onto the exhaust manifold causing the steam, so today when I finished work I decided to investigate the issue, i used a borescope to look all around the EGR cooler and surrounding areas for the leak, only place I could see water was from the aluminum carrier/holder bracket bottom central allen stud which holds the EGR cooler to the head, I have a damaged engine for spares which has that part on, so I removed it from there to check how it was connected to the head, and if there was a possibility that water could come from there it doesn't look like this would be a part that could leak water, as its only a threaded stand off so to speak to bolt the EGR cooler bracket onto, I couldn't see any where else water could have traveled from then to that point, any ideas what I should be checking for now, and procedure to do any checks which will locate the problem?

VW Touareg 2006 V10 5.0 TDi Slave ECU Fault

I have a 2006 Touareg V10 5.0 TDi with a faulty Slave ECU.

My question is:
Is the Slave needing adapting to the immo or will it plug and play?
I'm thinking maybe just the Master has the immo info but maybe not the slave!
I am looking to fit a used slave ECU (customer doesn't want to pay £1200 + vat for a new one) which he is going to supply.
If it does need adapting, I am using ODIS online, but will ODIS allow me fit a used unit? I know when I used Autologic I could do it, but now I don't have AL anymore.

If not maybe I can retrieve the SKC from both units and use VCDS but not sure if I'm able to get SKC at the moment.

I have BDM but prefer not to use it in case I'm cloning poor data to new used unit and end up having the same problem with the car.

A little advice please.

VW Passat B7 2013 A/C Compressor Issue

Hi.
My car is Passat B7 2013, my A/C not cooling, now only get hot air.
I went to a garage and he told me need to change the A/C compressor, A/C coil outside and inside one. I notice the gauge on low pressure about 70.
I think i read before in this forum only changing G65 is enough.
I need your idea about this, anyone connected via VCDS or with any tool and checked any value?

Audi A8 2011 CDRA DTCs P0492 & P0491

As stated P0492 and P0491, secondary air insufficient flow. I cleared the codes, performed output test of SAI pump, solenoids for combi valves (tested with vacuum as well), vacuum pump on the combi valves with pump running and I can hear and feel air in the tail pipes both sides, when combi valves are closed they are not leaking, vacuum source is good, no leaks in the system. Everything checked fine. I let it cool down and when started the SAI pump comes on, runs for a minute or so and shuts down. P0491 came back first start. There seems to be lots of air from the pump.
Not sure where to go next. Hope someone has been here before... help!

I know there was a TSB for the 3.2 and 3.0V6 about clogged passages but this engine is not listed.

POLO 6R 2015 AFTER A AIRBAG CRASH WHAT PART HAS TO BE CHANGE

Hi all friends, i have a polo 6R 2015, after a crash of airbag in accident i change all damaged items of airbag, no DTC in airbag all seem ok but the problem is in steering wheel, there is a red light of steering wheel in dash and when access in the ECU of steering wheel there two DTC's, i delete all DTC's and still one DTC relate to the crash data P1609, i wonder what part need to change, please help, the complete scan is attached.

VW Passat 2010 Gearbox Problem

Hello.

I have a Passat 2010 with gearbox problem. When changing from gear number 1 to 2 its coming like hard shuffle in the gearbox. I have changed the clutch but still same problem. When the engine/gearbox is hot its now shaking when changing gears so much. Only sometimes.
I have done the basic settings, changed gearbox oil, clutch and still same problem. I don't also have any fault codes.
I think it can be problem with software, maybe need to do an update.
The VIN number is: WVWZZZ3CZAE145034
I have been searching here for flash update but don't find it.

Can someone look at this video and tell me if this ignition switch is a known issue?

The old one did the same and this is with a new genuine switch fitted. If customer turns to crank and holds in this position, it won't start.
As you can see if you turn it a little further, it starts.

This can't be right. surprised

VW Golf 2010 1.6 TDi Bluemotion DTC P2463 DPF Issue

I have this Golf Bluemotion 1.6 TDi back in with DPF issue, it was in just 4 months ago in limp home, problem was due to blocked DPF cleaned it through in situ with tunap cleaner no problem, soot accusation dropped right down car has been fine until now. Currently this fault will not clear 7388-P2463 even with pressure lines disconnected, I am suspecting the sensor maybe faulty even though it was replaced only 18 months ago due to permanent codes:
7345 2455 DPF DIFF PRESS SE CIRC HIGH
7346 2453 DPF DIFF PRESS CIRC RANGE PERF
I have been waiting all day for VW dealer to call me back.
I don't think there is any problem again with DPF as:
calculated soot mass 13.2 g
actual soot mass -6.51g
differential pressure 1.5-2 hpa idle 16.5 hpa 2500rpm
I may try to force a regen but was hoping to delete the code first because it will not rev above 2500rpm.
With the DPF pressure sensor disconnected the live data reads pressure as zero, will a healthy sensor clear codes with only the electrical connector in place?
I was hoping someone may know some test values to bench test this DPF pressure sensor?
