Wondering if someone can give me best route to rectify stripped front anti roll bar bolts on a mk6 golf, was replacing drivers (rhd) side control arm/wishbone on wifes motor , simple job turned into a nightmare, one of the bolts on the aluminium casing rear bush was siezed, so after dropping subframe a little remove the wishbone bracket, got it out and bolt was actually bent and seized beyond belief, tried extracting using different methods to no avail, so bought replacement, got that sorted, but upon re-tightening up the subframe, the passenger side anti roll bar bolts just spin, but did notice this upon loosening earlier that they were very slack, but also the steering rack bolt is snapped and the bot is snapped inside subframe , this been done prior to me being there, as the bolt i can see is well rusty, now steering rack is solid and not moving ect, so that can wait till another time, id rather if possible fix arb bolts without dropping subframe again, so can i just either retap and use slightly bigger bolts, or use bolts and locking nuts? this be ok?
sorry long winded post, but i tried to explain as best as possible
best regards
