It’s been awhile since I participated in the forum, I’ve had a long break from cars but I’m back to repairing daily now so I’ll be active once again.
I have a 2007 Audi A4 Cabriolet 2.0 FSI in today, I’m trying to install and program a USED engine ECU.
I have extracted the immo pin ok from the old and new (used) ECU's using Autel Maxisys elite.
Using VCDS and following their online guide I’m going into 01 Engine Electronics then Security Access, enter code of used ECU which is accepted then Adaptations and enter Channel 50 to align the immobilizer but it’s just states error.
The ECU is a MED9.1 part number 8E1 910 115 A
I’m assuming it’s immo 4 on this model as it has a immo challenge rather than ID.
I’ve done this process lots of time before on various VAG successfully.
Any ideas guys?
