Hello AP, Greetings to all.
I have this 2012 Golf 2.5 Litre engine, with some issue such is central lock and fob error. This car cannot be lock with remote fob. And when you lock it with key all doors lock but when you lock it with key, only driver door unlock, regardless of how many times you turn the key to unlock all other doors.
Now when the driver door unlocked and you open the door, the alarm start shouting until you quickly enter to turn the ignition on then the alarm goes off.
I have tried to use VCDS to scan the car which was successful scan but I realised that I am not able to scan module 46 on the network, the VCDS says not detected, please I want help on the location of this module on the vehicle.. This is very important to me.
I also want the location of the TPMS module. I need some advice about how to handle this issue.. I will be uploading the scan report in my next reply when I scan again, I also realised the door module in front right passenger door and rear right have some faults which will post all.
